Interior Inspo: Office Space

Interiors / October 12, 2017

Having a freelance office for the last three years, I’ve come to realise how important a workspace really is and how it can really inspire the work that I do. I’m at that stage, though, where I really need to declutter my office – forget spring cleaning, I’m one of medium-level hoarders, that clings on and then when the hoarding-level reaches maximum breaking point, I’ll do a massive clean-out, and the cycle continues every few months.

I do wistfully look at pinterest and dream that one day I’ll be more of a minimalist soul and streamline my possessions permanently. But the cute and kitsch seem to always win – my office interior style is full of bright colours, sweet touches and personal photos that punch up the charm factor.

I still will always be drawn to the hyper-girly and more cheerful style of office but I’ve decided there’s no harm in ditching a little bit, just a little, of the cutesie for some grown-up gilts and softer shades of pastel to add a more luxe and inspiring vibe to my creative space. Here are some office spaces that are really encouraging me to do a re-boot and the pieces I’m lusting after to achieve the look.
