The spring shoe edit

One of the most popular questions in my weekly style Instagram question call out is spring shoe options; while most of us got autumn shoe dressing down, it can be a struggle thinking about how we dress our feet for the changeable transitional weather.

There’s nothing worse than peaking too early with toe-baring styles, only to end up with frozen feet. So what do you do when it’s too hot for boots and too cold for sandals?

Loafers, ballet flats, mules all will serve you well in the tricky in-between time and come brighter (read warmer weather); chunky sandals will be a welcome addition to your wardrobe.

With a year living at home, the spring shoe trends have reflected that, and the overall arching theme is comfort, and what a welcome relief considering WFH is continuing for many. So, with the better weather starting to make an appearance, it’s time to start thinking about what will be your shoe of choice for chilling at home, walks, and the eventual return to the office. Luckily, I’m on hand with a round-up of spring-ready shoe styles that you’ll be wearing all spring long and beyond. See some above and more below!
