Laid-back loungewear: the comfiest pieces to cosy up in
I caved. I wasn’t going to do a loungewear edit, but considering we’re house-bound for a little longer, I gave in. Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t put on a proper bra, jeans or make-up for over a week, and bounce between pjs, hoodies, and cosy cardigans, but I guess I didn’t want to give in to the fact we’re be in loungewear for that bit longer.
But loungewear is far from sluggish tracksuits and boyfriend-from-the-boy hoodies, it’s got super chic with pastel two-piece sets, kntited co-ords, and sleek leggings.
Zara’s earlier foray into the bradigan, that’s bra/cardigan, which I have two, is actually perfect for this time. Especially if you’re WFH, pulled together but cosy, it won’t matter that you have pjs on below when you’re zooming your colleagues. No-one is to know.
Their silky PJs, are so chic, you could actually re-wear them in the outside world, particular the PJ style tops, pared with jeans. I love the bright pop of zesty colour coming from the tile print shirt. Ideal for some optimism right now.
But it’s not just Zara bringing the luxe loungewear, all across the high-street from H&M, Asos to & Other Stories you can find some stylish chill out pieces, see my favourite loungewear pieces below:
